1.Established a Devolved system of Government consisting of sub Counties,

  • 235 Villages

3.Established a fully functional Citizen engagement Directorate within our Department.

4.Continuously striving to achieve a clean, safe and sustainable environment for Machakos residents.

Future Plans

  • Set up County Services center(the equivalent of Huduma centers) at each of the 40 wards and later at the 235 villages.
  • Train all the Administrators at a recognized Government institution i.e. Kenya School of Government (KSG)
  • Acquire official working uniform for all Administrators.
  • Acquire motor vehicles for all the Administrators to improve their mobility
