Duties and responsibilities

  • Heading the administrative services in the Office of the County Secretary
  • Implementing Cabinet Office services cadres, policies and procedures
  • Carrying out storage and retrieval of cabinet records
  • Oversight of Cabinet administrative and secretarial services personnel
  • Drafting memos and letters to implement cabinet decisions

County Ombudsman

Duties and responsibilities

  • Management of the Complaints Mechanism
  • Oversight of the Public Communication and Feedback function
  • Initiate formulation and implementation of relevant policies
  • Liaison with integrity bodies (CAJ, EACC, etc)
  • Maintain close collaboration with the public and stakeholders
  • Preparation of reports on national values entrenchment in the public service
  • Investigate cases and provide feedback to the complainants
  • Carry out relevant research on issues of complaints and feedback management
  • Monitor and evaluate the status of complaints resolution;
  • Identify systemic issues and recommend remedial measures and proactive action
  • Prepare periodic reports on the status of all the investigated cases;


Chief Administrative Officer – County Corporates and Central Postings

Duties and responsibilities

  • Interpreting and implementing policies and procedures on County Corporate bodies
  • Managing contracts and MoUs for the Corporates, Boards, and Legal Committees
  • Oversight of administrative and secretarial services personnel;
  • Coordination of all matters regarding Central Postings of support/pooled staff
